I’m Nikki and I’m Mum to a three year old whirlwind, and a beautiful Cocker Spaniel.
I have been creating various forms of play set ups since my daughter was a few months old and love that I can combine my creativity with supporting her development.
I love to help other people feel empowered and I’m a big cheerleader for other people which I bring to my classes – I want you to enjoy playing with your children as much as they enjoy playing with you!

I am a qualified Developmental Play Practitioner and prior to having my daughter I worked in children’s mental health and children and families social work settings for 12 years.
I’m a really creative person and I recognise the core benefits and attraction of play both for children but also us adults – who can’t resist running their hands through a tray of rainbow coloured rice?!!!
I started Happy Little Learners because I was looking for a class for my daughter that combined the educational aspects of nursery / formal childcare with the fun and informal play element of toddler groups.
I struggled to find this so I created it!
I also wanted a class that parents didn’t need to sign up to whole terms for if they didn’t want to. My daughter has a short attention span and whole term classes just didn’t really work for us. For this reason all of my classes are available both as Pay As You Go and as whole term bookings (which come with a discount).
I also offer a discount scheme where you can purchase a ticket that gives you five classes for the price of four, redeemable as and when you wish; just look for the Class Pass option when booking.
